It's that time of year to start the decluttering and organizing.
Something about the beginning of a new year makes me want to start all fresh, new, clean and organized.
I'm sure I'm not alone in that.
We'll be cleaning the old garage this weekend plus a few closets and making our piles for the dump. We also will be making a special pile for a garge sale to raise some funds for my newest niece, Ruby.
My sister in law, Caitlin, had some complications relating to her pregancy which caused the doctors to deliver Ruby early. She was born on Nov. 12 at just 23 weeks and 6 days. Very early. She was/is 1 lb. and 3.8oz, 11 1/4" long. She is a little miracle and I cannot help but be in awe at what the doctors can do and the strength of her spirit in that teeny, tiny body.
At the same time, she has a long road ahead of her. She has already gone through 2 surgeries and may be gearing up for another. I cannot imagine what my brother, Russell, and Caitlin must be going through emotionally + physically. I think of them everyday.
We wanted to do something to serve them, since we live so far away. (They are in Idaho) The financial stress of having her in the hospital for so many months, will definitely add up. We probably won't make a dent on that bill, but wanted to give something.
If you would like to help us by giving donations of your useable, good stuff that you no longer want as you're decluttering your houses this month, we'd love to have it. We are planning the garage sale for next Saturday the 7th. So anytime before then. Contact me at: heatherabbott914@gmail.com and I'll come pick it up:)

i'll definitely see what i have ;)
