Planning to participate in 3 challenges this year.
As much as I LOVE the photo a day, I'm a little burnt out, and frankly it's not super challenging.
So, I am going to do a year of weekly photos with a theme. I'm following along with some wonderful photographer friends.
Week One is: Newness
Here's my take:

I seriously cannot stand wearing my jeans. It's a new year, new fitness goals. I plan to move more and eat less and fit more comforably in those jeans....soon. Workouts at least 3 times a week. Daily green smoothies back in the mix. Hopefully a new and improved me will emerge. I want to feel healthier and stronger and tone up a bit.
Second challenge I copied from Jenn. Such a perfect, wonderful idea. I fell instantly in love and knew that it was something that would challenge me to still record my family and our everyday life without feeling the burden of shooting something every.single.day.
So the first prompt was in the car.
This is after the garage sale on Saturday. I love that I got Kade with his blanket. And that you can see the bite marks in the door from when Kyle was little. Everyday details that got in there. I couldn't choose just one. So here's the set

They are so cooperative!
Finally one on top of the car. Brandon found a very interesting dinosaur book that was donated for the garage sale and paused to look at it while climbing on top of the car. It is a daily thing for him to be ON the car.

Lastly, I will be posting a collaborative photo project with Kristin and Lesli once a month. Super excited about that. We have one word a month to convey in one photo, then we will collage them together to show our various takes on it. Coming soon. Next Friday to be exact :)
