We are moving, tomorrow to be exact.
I will not be posting my weekly photography challenges this week, but hope to catch up once we are settled.
My life has looked like this for the past two weeks. It's not fun. It's actually quite depressing.
I do however see the light at the end of this tunnel.
We are moving less than a mile from our current home.
We will be in the same ward.
We are sad to see our house go, but know it is best for our current situation.
We are ready to move on and go forward with a fresh start not being weighed or bogged down by business stresses.
We have lots of memories here, but will make more in the next house.
It is just a house you know. Where we are is our home because we have each other.
Things could be much worse. We have been blessed. I recognize that.
Our new neighbors are super friendly and we are excited to get to know them. A far cry from our current neighbors. I'm sure they will be happy to see us leave.
I'll have more reflections about this place later, when I'm not so busy packing and unpacking.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend with your families.
If you need something to do on Saturday, our house 9am, we have lots of heavy stuff to transport ;)
We'll have donuts, just sayin'

Good luck with the move. Praying that it will be quick and painless move and that you make beautiful friendships with the new neighbours.

Yes, you do have a busy week ahead! Packing or unpacking? I think they are equally bad. I'm glad you have found a place that will be a better fit for your family. And yes, the family makes the home really. Good luck with the move. I can't wait to hear more about it and see photos of your new place. :)

Good luck to you tomorrow. You said it perfectly - it's just a house, where your family is is home.

Good luck with everything! Wish we were in town to help. I'm not fond of the actual moving part, but I love having a new space (fresh canvas) to put our stamp on. We've been in our current place almost 3 years and I'm ready for a change up. It probably won't happen for another couple of years though- ha ha. Glad to hear you have good new neighbors. Our neighbors are fantastic and it is wonderful!

Ugh, moving boxes...something i much too familiar. We'll be doing that in May. Hope you get things back to normal soon. Good luck with your move.

So far, how are you and your four kids in your new house? I noticed, your boxes are unlabelled. It’s a good thing you didn't have a hard time figuring out which is which. Anyway, you and your family may have left the house, Heather, but the memories will still live in each and every one you - home is within your heart.
