The first week in the month, we focus on photographing a room in the home.
This week's room: the playroom.
Our playroom doubles as a preschool room. Who am I kidding? Our playroom IS the school room. School has just taken over that room. My kids do various things in there: watching movies, playing animals, trains, finding the paint and various manipulatives. It's almost always a mess, or there are piles that I must at some point get to. We do a quick straighten Monday night and that usually gets us through the preschool week.
Today the boys were watercoloring together. That's been Brandon's favorite activity this week. He helps himself to the materials, and finds his happy place:) He invited Kyle to paint with him. It is a rare occasion for these two to get along. Kyle and Brandon had a few hours together today without the other two and it was good for them to have some bonding time. Kyle displayed a bit of maturity and he peacefully allowed Brandon to choose what they would do. Made my heart happy.

Oh I love your playroom! You have so many gorgeous windows, and it looks so cheery.
It's funny what you said about haircuts, I never notice we're getting close to our hair appointments until I look at a photo of them.

Your kids are seriously so big! I love the string idea to hang kids art and the pic of your kids infront of the chalkboard! Is that a wall in your house? super cute!
